Sweet May Day Krafifest

In honor of the local delicacy – krafi, this year, for the 18th time in a row, exactly on the First of May at 12 noon, Kršan is organizing an event that celebrates the autochthonous dish of this region. Hard-working housewives will prepare this traditional Istrian dish in several versions - sweet, salty, boiled, baked and flambéed krafi, and it's up to you to come and taste them.

You can also participate in the workshop of making this delicacy from 2 to 4 p.m., and there will also be a competition in their preparation. In addition to krafi, there will be plenty of delicious homemade food and drinks on offer.   Entertainmend starts right after the opening of the event, with the performance of KUD Zlatel, KUD Ljiljani and accordionist Dean Jedretić, who will surely "warm up" the visitors . There will also be the ever-young band Anelidi and the majorettes from Pićan who act as members of the Alliance Majorette Adriatica.

For children from 4 to 12 years of age, from 2 to 5 p.m., a free workshop "Sweet Fun Factory" will be organized, and face painting, a coloring corner and a baking escape room will be offered for older children who will have to solve various puzzles and tasks. Entertainment for all ages awaits you this 1 st of May in Kršan on Pristav. Neno Pavinčić will play the role of host.

The organizers of the event are the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Kršan and the Municipality of Kršan.
